The fish that we use in our fish products is bought from specialist suppliers who operate to very strict specifications and make every effort to ensure that all bones are removed. However, each fish can contain over 350 bones and unfortunately, it is impossible to guarantee 100% removal.

So that our consumers are aware that very occasionally a fish bone may be present, we do print a statement on all our fish products advising that although great care has been taken to remove all bones, some may remain. However, we are concerned that a bone has eluded detection and I can assure you that we will report the details to the Quality Team.
