The meat we use in our products is purchased from specialist suppliers who operate to very strict specifications. The quality standards we specify include tolerances for all potential defects, including bones. On intake at the factory the raw material is audited to ensure that these standards are maintained. Unfortunately, it is occasionally possible for some bones to be left in the meat.

So that our consumers are aware that very occasionally a bone may be present, we do print a statement on this product advising that although great care has been taken to remove all bones, some may remain. However, we are concerned that a bone has eluded detection and I can assure you that I have reported the details to the Quality Team.
